Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide professional nursing care across a diverse patient population. You will perform assessments, assist with exams and treatments, educate patients, and maintain medical records while collaborating with physicians and the health care team to achieve quality outcomes.

The RN II demonstrates clinical competence, administers medications, manages emergencies, and may serve as charge nurse or preceptor.

Qualifications

• Twelve months of RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Current Texas RN license; BLS/ACLS/NRP required or in progress.
• Ability to use electronic charting and clinical documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and assist with exams and treatments.
• Educate patients and maintain accurate medical records.
