Job summary

LV8D Solutions LLC seeks a Security Control Assessor to conduct independent assessments of management, operational, and technical security controls for RMF-based A&A determinations throughout system lifecycles. The role requires evaluating weaknesses and recommending corrective actions while reviewing SSPs and RMF artifacts.

Candidate must provide clear technical reports, coordinate with ISOs and stakeholders, and travel up to 10% for site assessments.

Qualifications

• Practical experience performing information systems A&A as defined in ICDs/guidance.
• Experience applying risk management strategies for IT solutions.
• Technical understanding of emerging technologies in government environments.
• Knowledge of IT concepts used to evaluate security performance and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Review IS for compliance with IC/DoW/ND guidance and make recommendations.
• Provide IS security guidance to Government/partners for data protection at all levels.
• Evaluate threats and vulnerabilities to IS and recommend safeguards or waivers.
• Support development and implementation of security policies and future IS security policy input.
• Assist with RMF documentation and SAR/POAM processes.
• Coordinate IS security assessments and ensure SAR completion.
