Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Senior Security Control Assessor Representative (SCAR) to conduct independent assessments of IT security controls and evaluate their effectiveness for authorization readiness.

The role requires RMF, NIST CSF, and DoD guidance knowledge, hands-on eMASS/XACTA experience, Cloud/SaaS security, and Top Secret clearance with US citizenship; hybrid work arrangements are available. Applicants should be able to brief leadership and produce concise, well-written findings.

Qualifications

• 15+ years Cyber experience.
• 15+ years as SCAR/RMF engineer or related roles.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCp).
• Experience with RMF, CSF, and NIST 800-53r5.
• US Citizenship with Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate IT infrastructure risk and define required artifacts.
• Assess systems for RMF/CSF compliance and guidance.
• Review A&A activities and supporting artifacts.
• Identify control gaps and validate mitigating controls.
• Provide reports and briefings to senior leadership.
