Job summary

ISSE Services in Utah is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Analyst – RMF to act as the senior RMF/ISSM expert and technical lead. You will mentor a nine-person RMF team and guide DoD RMF activities across the system lifecycle.

You will develop authorization artifacts, manage eMASS packages, and coordinate with ISSMs, ISSOs, and system owners to ensure compliant RMF deliveries. A DoD Secret clearance and extensive RMF experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity or information assurance.
• Meets DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce requirements for the role.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA are preferred; CISSP/CIS strongly preferred.
• Significant hands-on DoD RMF experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior RMF/ISSM SME and technical lead.
• Mentor a team of RMF professionals and provide direction.
• Lead and support DoD RMF activities across the system lifecycle.
• Develop and review SSPs, POA&Ms, evidence, and authorization artifacts.
• Manage RMF packages in eMASS and ensure technical accuracy.
• Support security control assessments, ATO activities, audits, and reviews.
• Analyze vulnerabilities, findings, risks, and remediation strategies.
• Coordinate with ISSMs, ISSOs, System Owners, engineers, assessors, and authorizing officials.
• Escalate complex RMF issues to senior team members.
