Job summary

Bot Auto seeks a Senior ML/RL Engineer to advance a unified behavioral architecture for autonomous trucks. The role focuses on bridging simulation and real-world deployment by building scalable policy frameworks for L4 ego-policy and diverse simulated agents.

You will work at the intersection of Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning and safety-critical system design to ensure highways are navigated with high safety and precision. Strong RL, Python and PyTorch skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of training and deploying deep RL algorithms in real-world systems.
• MS or PhD in CS/Robotics or related quantitative field.
• Strong ability to diagnose RL training challenges and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and train diverse policies for autonomous driving behavior.
• Lead safety-constrained learning with RL to enforce primary safety constraints.
• Design reward functions and metrics balancing safety, progress and comfort.
• Build scalable, high-throughput training pipelines for MARL scenarios.
• Advance neural architectures for spatial reasoning and long-horizon planning.
• Collaborate with Simulation and Planning to integrate models into production.
