Job summary

AT&T is seeking a Principal Risk Response Activation & Assurance Lead to drive risk remediation across data, technology, and workforce domains. You will convert validated risks into actionable remediation plans, validate controls, and report residual risk to strengthen governance.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. The position requires daily on-site presence in Charlotte, NC, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity required or desired.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Experience assessing and driving remediation of cybersecurity, data governance, or operational risks.
• Ability to validate remediation evidence and evaluate residual risk exposure.

Responsibilities

• Activate validated data and workforce-related risks into remediation or formal acceptance pathways.
• Serve as the control-layer function for risk activation across data lifecycle controls and workforce management processes.
• Convert validated data and workforce risks into remediation, compensating control, or acceptance routes.
• Ensure response pathways align to data governance, data quality, access/entitlement, or workforce control gaps.
