Job summary

Soros Fund Management is hiring a Risk Manager to provide independent risk oversight for Structured Products and Private Credit, setting risk limits, building pricing and risk models, and performing scenario analysis in partnership with investment teams.

Requires 5–10 years in risk management, research or trading with deep securitized-products knowledge; proficient in Python/SQL. Base salary range $150,000–$225,000 plus year‑end bonus. Offices in NY, Greenwich, Garden City, London and Dublin.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in risk management, research or trading roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge across securitized products.
• Analytical degree with statistics and pricing-model expertise.
• Strong quantitative communication abilities.
• Team collaboration with system design and databases interest.
• Proficiency with platforms such as Intex, YieldBook and Bloomberg; Python and SQL beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate risk through reporting, commentary and analysis.
• Set and monitor risk limits and address exceptions.
• Create risk methodologies for sensitivities and scenario analysis.
• Develop pricing and risk models and supporting valuations.
• Consult on new transaction structuring.
• Analyse hedge sizing and opportunities.
• Deliver analytical insights on risk factors and return drivers.
• Advance quantitative frameworks for portfolio construction.
• Coordinate technology implementation of risk processes.
