Job summary

Grange Insurance Company is seeking a Risk Control Representative/Sr. Risk Control Representative to provide information on hazard detection, risk evaluation and improvement recommendations, mainly for insured clients.

The role emphasizes evaluating larger, complex risks and stewardship accounts with 20–40% client-facing consulting work. Responsibilities include site surveys, risk evaluation, and preparing risk control reports and letters for internal staff and external customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Property Casualty Risk Control/Loss Prevention experience.
• Minimum 5 years knowledge of OSHA, NFPA and other technical standards.
• Minimum 5 years knowledge of commercial coverages and risk evaluation techniques.
• Proficient in most standard business software applications, particularly Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provides risk evaluation services through site surveys to identify loss exposure, hazards and controls for complex risks.
• Provides consultative risk improvement services focused on the Stewardship Program, including analysis of existing loss control measures and development of recommendations and corrective action plans.

BA/BS in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, Science
