Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking a Senior Risk Management Analyst to lead quantitative risk analyses for Electric Operations, develop risk-based models, and support investment planning in a hybrid Bay Area setting.

The role collaborates with ERM, RADA, EORM and other partners to drive risk-informed decisions, monitor KPIs and KRIs, and support regulatory filings. The position advances PG&E's risk frameworks and decision analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with quantitative focus.
• 5+ years in analytics, risk modeling, or related fields.
• Experience communicating findings to leadership and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead quantitative analyses to support risk management strategies.
• Develop and validate risk models for mitigation and investment planning.
• Assess programs and processes to improve risk visibility and reduce exposure.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify risks and craft recommendations.
• Support development and validation of models, including wildfire risk.
• Promote data-driven decision-making and risk quantification across units.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for risk mitigation planning.
• Explain complex model outputs to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create executive presentations and briefing materials for leaders.
• Monitor KPIs and KRIs; support regulatory filings and data requests.
• Contribute to risk-informed investment prioritization and governance.
• Provide technical leadership on analytics methods and best practices.
