Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced ERM professional to support the Senior Director in executing and monitoring the enterprise risk management program. You will lead ERM projects, maintain risk scorecards, and contribute to risk assessments and appetite statements.

You will design KRIs, report on top enterprise risks, and prepare governance-level reports using PowerPoint and dashboards. The role requires strong communication, independence, and collaboration across Product Development,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or related field required.
• Typically, five or more years of progressive risk professional experience required.
• Three or more years of experience within the financial services industry.
• Advanced knowledge with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query)
• Advanced knowledge with PowerPoint
• Experience within a formal three-lines-of-defense program
• Familiarity with risk mgmt frameworks, concepts, practices
• Ability to work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Collaboration across departments (Product Dev, Legal/Compliance, Ops, IT, Finance)
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, ARM, CERA, FRM, CRM, CPCU preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Director of Enterprise Risk Management in executing, monitoring, and maintaining the ERM program
• Lead ERM projects delegated by the Senior Director
• Maintain and develop Enterprise Risk Scorecards
• Contribute to annual ER risk assessment, risk appetite statement, and tolerances
• Design and manage KRIs and KRI performance reporting for top enterprise risks
• Coordinate risk assessments, including RCSAs and GRC updates
• Create and distribute risk-based reports to management
• Produce reports for ERM Committee and related governance bodies
• Create and maintain reporting decks/presentations using PowerPoint, Excel, and dashboards
• Record risk data in the GRC application
• Maintain GRC system reporting and assist with minor updates
• Protect integrity and confidentiality of systems and data

Job description

• Support the Senior Director of Enterprise Risk Management in executing, monitoring, and maintaining the enterprise risk management program
• Lead enterprise risk management projects delegated by the Senior Director
• Maintain and lead the ongoing development of Enterprise Risk Scorecards
• Contribute to the annual enterprise risk assessment, company risk appetite statement, and associated risk tolerances
• Collaborate with management to design Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and manage KRI performance reporting for top enterprise risks
• Support coordination of risk assessments, including RCSAs and GRC application updates
• Create and distribute risk-based reports to management
• Produce reports for the ERM Committee, Risk & Security Committee, and Management Committee
• Create, maintain, format, and update reporting decks and presentations using PowerPoint, Excel, and system dashboards
• Record risk data in the company's GRC application
• Create and maintain GRC system reports and assist with minor GRC system updates when necessary
• Support protection of the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field required
• Typically, five or more years of progressive risk professional experience required
• Three or more years of experience within the financial services industry
• Advanced knowledge and experience with analytic and reporting tools, especially Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and Power Query
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
• Working knowledge and experience within a formal three-lines-of-defense program
• Experience with standard risk management frameworks, concepts, and practices
• Ability to work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate with and obtain support across an organization, including Product Development, Legal/Compliance, Operations, IT, and Accounting/Finance
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Successful background and drug screen
• Professional certifications in Risk, Audit, Financial Analysis, and/or Strategic Disciplines such as CPA, CIA, ARM, CERA, FRM, CRM, or CPCU preferred
• Ability to perform essential functions and physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
