Job summary

BDO USA in Stamford, CT seeks an Experienced Manager for Risk Advisory Services to lead internal auditing and SOX readiness engagements for diverse clients. You will guide projects, develop risk-based plans, and mentor staff while delivering high-value recommendations.

You will manage client relationships, oversee budgets, and ensure timely, quality deliverables across engagements with a focus on control improvements and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or BI required.
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary contact for clients regarding progress and issues identified.
• Contributes to planning, field work, wrap up, and report composition of engagements.
• Communicates control gaps and improvements to client management and audit committees.
• Develops risk-based audit plans and engagement budgets.
