Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Senior, Risk Advisory Services to deliver risk consulting on contract compliance, SOX, internal audit, and fraud investigations. You will participate in planning, fieldwork, wrap-up, and reporting, while guiding clients through risk and control improvements.

The role requires 2+ years in audit or risk services, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and strong communication skills. CPA/CIA preferred; ESOP firm benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Two or more years in public accounting or industry internal audit/risk services.
• Experience with internal controls testing and SOX focus across entity-wide risk assessment.
• CPA or CIA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact for basic questions and information.
• Conduct information gathering and analysis to support client issues.
• Document processes, risks, and controls with guidance from seniors.
• Develop contract summaries and financial information based on contract type.
• Prepare client presentations and draft proposals and reports.
