Job summary

Riveron in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Associate for its Risk Advisory group. This role focuses on assessing internal controls, developing remediation roadmaps, and performing risk assessments while working closely with senior team members.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, relevant certifications such as CPA or CIA, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit or risk advisory roles. You will thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively manage client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in external audit or risk advisory roles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the COSO framework and SOX.

Responsibilities

• Assess internal controls for design and operational effectiveness.
• Identify control gaps and create remediation roadmaps.
• Communicate extensively with clients on project status.

Skills

Experience in external audit or risk advisory roles

Knowledge of business risks

Client relationship management

Strong communication skills

Ability to travel based on client location

Education

Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Accounting
