Job summary

SpaceX in the United States seeks a Sr. RF & Wireless Compliance Engineer to own regulatory strategy and certification for Starlink wireless hardware.

You will coordinate with RF design, firmware, and software teams to drive compliance across US and international markets, including FCC/ETSI standards and lab testing campaigns. The role requires deep knowledge of RF standards, hands-on testing, and the ability to translate complex regulations into concrete design requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience in RF/wireless regulatory compliance and certification.
• Working knowledge of FCC and ETSI radio standards for WiFi and cellular.
• Experience following an RF product from design through test and certification.

Responsibilities

• Own RF regulatory strategy and certification for Starlink wireless hardware for US and international markets.
• Develop and manage compliance methods for WiFi and cellular technologies.
• Plan and run RF compliance test campaigns with accredited labs (conducted and radiated, spurious, power, DFS, SAR/MPE).
• Collaborate with RF hardware, firmware, and software teams to implement changes for certification.
• Prepare and maintain technical files, test reports, and certification applications (FCC/ETSI/RED).
