Job summary

Comet Group in San Jose, CA seeks a Senior RF System Validation Engineer to define and execute performance characterizations of High-Power RF Matching Systems, including sensors and control modules, in the Plasma Control Technologies division.

You will build and adapt automated test tools, analyze large data sets with Python, summarize findings in test reports, and work with internal stakeholders to improve methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with RF focus.
• Experience with high-power RF test equipment.
• Strong data analysis and scripting in Python.
• Ability to design and validate test systems.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define, design and execute performance characterizations of High-Power RF Matching Systems.
• Develop automated tests and data analysis tools for large datasets.
• Review results with stakeholders and drive test-method improvements.
• Troubleshoot test stations and data issues.
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams.
