Blue Origin LLC in Denver seeks a Senior RF Communications Systems Engineer and TT&C Technical Lead to own the TT&C architecture, translate mission requirements into subsystem design, and lead an RF engineering team through end-to-end development, integration, and on-orbit operations.

The role requires strong RF/microwave expertise, system-level thinking, and collaboration across spacecraft, avionics, and ground operations to deliver a robust TT&C solution for a large constellation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of RF communications systems engineering or related field.
• Experience leading architecture of RF/TT&C systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the TT&C subsystem architecture, including RF hardware and ground-system interfaces.
• Define end-to-end TT&C architecture based on mission requirements and link budgets.
• Develop TT&C subsystem requirements and verification plans.
• Create CONOPS and operational scenarios for command, telemetry, tracking, and ground-station interactions.
• Lead RF architecture trade studies and performance analyses.
• Oversee RF cascade analyses, noise figures, and intermodulation considerations.
• Mentor RF engineers and guide technical team development.
• Coordinate TT&C integration, testing, and on-orbit operations.
