Job summary

CesiumAstro, a leader in satellite communication systems, seeks a Senior RF Test Engineer II to design, analyze, and implement RF test plans for cutting-edge space and aerospace platforms. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to address hardware test needs and advance test architectures across programs.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, automation, and collaboration with design and test engineers to drive test requirements from concept to execution, including presenting

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 6 years with a BS or 4 years with a MS; RF test systems experience required.
• High proficiency with RF measurements (Linearity, NSD, EVM).
• Test architecture design and development including scripting, test executives, hardware, and measurement abstraction layers.
• Proficiency with statistics and metrology as related to RF test design.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, and vector signal analyzers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and test engineering teams to develop test requirements.
• Map requirements to reusable test architectures and procedures.
• Implement test plans and procedures, logging and presenting results to stakeholders.
• Lab and equipment management; guide key equipment purchase decisions.
