Job summary

VIAVI Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute Design Verification Tests for RF and electronic test equipment used to verify avionics systems. You will translate product requirements into comprehensive verification plans and implement automated solutions to improve efficiency.

You will collaborate across hardware, software, and manufacturing teams, perform RF measurements, analyze results, and help drive root-cause investigations while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining test software, scripts, and automation using appropriate programming and test frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute Design Verification Tests (DVT) for RF and electronic test equipment.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, systems, and manufacturing engineering teams to develop verification strategies.
• Develop automated test solutions to improve coverage, repeatability, and data collection.
