Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior/Principal RF Integration & Test Engineer to lead hands-on development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of RF communications and sensor systems.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to characterize noise, mitigate EMI, and use RF design tools and bench techniques; a strong background in ferrite beads, baluns, shielding, and scripting is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years experience in RF/Communications engineering or related field.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert level system test and troubleshooting using RF test equipment.
• Integration and test of passive LF/HF antennas and matching networks.
• Anechoic chamber testing and field testing of electromagnetic propagation.
• Lead in-house and local field testing of antenna and link performance.
• Identify risks and mitigate with design feedback and analyses.
