Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks a Lead Systems Engineer (RF Systems) to drive design, integration, and verification of complex RF communication systems across the program lifecycle.

The role requires a strong technical foundation, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to define requirements, manage interfaces, and support system performance. A security clearance or ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Systems, Electrical or related field) with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 13 years of relevant experience.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain required clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support system design, development, integration, test, and verification across all phases of the program lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain system requirements, interface definitions, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, manufacturing, quality, and program management.
• Support system-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, risk assessments, and configuration management activities.
• Evaluate system performance against technical requirements and support verification planning and execution.
• Assist with development of test plans, procedures, reports, and other engineering artifacts.
• Track technical issues, action items, and program deliverables to support cost, schedule and performance objectives.
• Provide clear written and verbal communication to internal teams, leadership, customers, and external partners.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain required clearance.
