Job summary

Autonomai Recruitment invites an experienced RF engineer to join our elite hardware team in Austin. You will own designs from concept through production, shaping high-speed RF front ends and PCBAs for ultra-low latency systems.

In this role you will develop LNAs, filters and matching networks, work with RF lab equipment, and collaborate with software and network engineers to deploy hardware into production. A strong background in RF design and Python automation is required.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in EE or related field.
• 4+ years RF hardware design experience.
• Experience with RF front ends and high-speed hardware.
• Strong understanding of gain, noise figure, linearity, stability and isolation.
• Hands-on experience with RF laboratory equipment.
• Experience with PCB design and board-level integration.
• Python scripting for automation or test development.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate custom RF hardware and PCBAs.
• Develop high-performance transmit and receive RF front ends.
• Design LNAs, filters, matching networks and amplifier stages.
• Debug and optimise complete RF systems.
• Perform RF testing, validation and performance analysis.
• Develop test plans and support system bring-up.
• Collaborate with software, networking and infrastructure engineers to deploy hardware into production.
• Own hardware projects from concept through manufacturing.
• Support regulatory compliance and system certification.
