Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Senior RF Signal Processing Software Engineer to advance our electromagnetic warfare product line. You will design and refine DSP algorithms to detect, classify, and geolocate RF emissions in real time. You will collaborate with the Spectrum Sensing Team, integrate software with RF/SDR hardware, and contribute to field demonstrations of the technology.

On-site 3–5 days per week in Hawthorne, CA or Washington, DC, with travel up to 30%. U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant development experience.
• Experience with RF sensing systems (active or passive) and advanced DSP techniques.
• Experience with recorded I/Q data and generating synthetic I/Q data.
• Strong background in FFT analyses, matched filtering, and cyclostationary analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or MATLAB for algorithm development and integration.
• Experience with SDR and RF signal processing toolkits.
• On-site work 3–5 days/week in Hawthorne, CA or Washington, D.C.
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine advanced DSP algorithms to detect, identify, and track RF signals.
• Integrate and test signal processing software with RF/SDR hardware and host processing platforms.
• Collaborate with BD, Production, and other Engineering teams; contribute to field demonstrations.
