Job summary

Boeing Defense Space & Security in California is seeking a Lead Electrophysics Engineer (Level 5) to support RF payload products across Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, or El Segundo. The role integrates with SEIT teams to deliver system performance and interface management.

The ideal candidate has a strong RF and radar background, with 9+ years of related experience, and holds an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance is required.
9+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of radar theory/design or SIGINT-related technologies.
Willingness to participate in business development and EVM processes.

Responsibilities

Provide expertise over radar activities, including performance and trade studies.
Oversee development and implementation of radar signal image processing techniques.
Perform system engineering and integration of Radar Warning Receivers into systems.
Develop concept of operations for RF product design and use.
Perform Mission Design and payload effectiveness analysis.
Lead technical teams, including subcontractors, on hardware and algorithm development.
Support systems in test or operation, handling anomalies and resolutions.
Develop and execute capability roadmaps for assigned products.
