Job summary

The Boeing Company in El Segundo, CA seeks an experienced RF Electrophysics Engineer to contribute to defense, space and security initiatives. This onsite role requires a Top Secret/SCI eligible clearance and a strong background in RF theory and system design.

Responsibilities include requirements generation, system integration architectures, RF performance analysis, testing and lifecycle support across programs. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (Top Secret/SCI).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a cross-functional team.
• willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• ABET accreditation is preferred in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Generate unit or lower-level requirements documents and support system/interface definitions.
• Develop architectures to integrate systems and components into higher-level platforms.
• Perform trade studies, modeling and simulations to optimize design.
• Create and validate gain-loss budgets for RF performance over conditions.
• Generate unit or lower-level test procedures and conduct tests to verify designs.
• Provide lifecycle support to products throughout their life cycle.
• Work under general direction onsite at the El Segundo location.
