Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX seeks a Senior RF Production Support Electrical Engineer to back a development program in the Airborne RF Electronics Design Department. You will join a team delivering production testsets onsite under IPT guidance in McKinney, Texas.

Role involves designing and standing up production testsets, troubleshooting to component level, and working in compact range and lab environments. Requires a STEM degree and 5 years’ experience with electronics and a transferable US

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electronics and coding.
• Experience with measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
• Experience with compact antenna ranges and measurements.
• Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment to assess production testing design coverage for all levels of test from SPSE to assembly, test, integration, and verification.
• Stand up testsets to support a production run in the McKinney compact range area to meet production program requirements.
• Troubleshooting testsets down to component level including analog/digital/radio and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces and software.
• Resolve issues on production support testsets in NTX.
• Work in a compact range environment and lab environment.
• Use cPDM and PRISM SAP to support drawings and requirements.
• Interpreting, generating, updating, releasing and applying engineering drawings, including testset drawings, assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, harnesses, cables, and schematics.
• Train and mentor early in career team members.
