Job summary

Applicantz, Inc is seeking a Staff RF Power Product Engineer to join the RF Power Group within Supplier Engineering and Technology. This hybrid, long-term role in Tualatin focuses on RF power systems, semiconductor equipment, supplier engineering, product quality, and new product introduction.

You will work across the product lifecycle with engineering teams, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to solve complex technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Electrical or RF Power Engineer with BS / MS / PhD in a professional engineering program and >10 years of experience.
• Experience solving semiconductor equipment system and component-level problems.
• Experience with multi-kilowatt high-power RF environments (1–60 MHz).
• Knowledge of transmission line theory, impedance matching, RF measurements and calibration techniques.
• Familiarity with PCB assembly, inspection and test preferred.
• Experience with electrical measurement equipment (DMM, LCR, milli-ohm meters, network analyzers, hi-pot testers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
• Knowledge of SPC, Cpk, DOE, GR&R (MSA), 5-Why, 6S/7W, t/f tests, box plots, 8D, Ishikawa diagrams.
• Familiarity with electrical & mfg standards (Semi S2, OSHA, ISO9000/14000, RoHS, UL, IEEE, MIL, IPC 610/620).
• Experience with electro-mechanical assembly, manufacturing processes, QA, and product support.
• Demonstrated lab and experimental work; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply semiconductor manufacturing and equipment knowledge to technical and quality problems across the product lifecycle, especially new product introduction.
• Utilize industrial Quality Systems, Engineering Design & Documentation, Product Qualification, Change (EC) processes and problem-solving to lifecycle issues.
• Perform program/project and supplier management with emphasis on problem-solving and continuous improvements.
