Job summary

Acara Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to lead RF power systems initiatives for advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will drive product engineering across the lifecycle and collaborate with global suppliers to ensure high performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in semiconductor equipment engineering or RF power systems.
• 5+ years in high power RF environments (1-60 MHz).
• 3+ years using electrical measurement tools (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers).

• Lead product engineering initiatives across RF power systems throughout the product lifecycle.
• Solve complex system- and component-level issues in semiconductor equipment.
• Collaborate with global suppliers to improve manufacturing processes, quality systems, and corrective actions.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Analyze root cause issues and drive corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Oversee supplier quality, testing, and manufacturing process improvements.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment engineering or RF power systems
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience working in high power RF environments (1-60 MHz)
• 5+ years of experience in system-level problem-solving, product qualification, and change management
• 3+ years of experience using electrical measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers

What Sets You Apart:

• Experience with PCB assembly, inspection, and testing
• Familiarity with quality and statistical tools (SPC, DOE, GR&R, 8D, root cause analysis)
• Knowledge of industry standards (ISO, OSHA, IPC, UL, IEEE, MIL)
• Strong understanding of transmission line theory, impedance matching, and RF calibration techniques
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex engineering solutions
