Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a seasoned RF Engineer to model, simulate, and analyze state-of-the-art RF for 4G/5G/6G modem wireless systems.

You will design and simulate models, verify performance, and collaborate with RF systems and analog designers to capture designs and build models. The role emphasizes end-to-end RF impairment characterization, development of analytical models, and RF mitigation techniques, including AI/ML modem solutions.

Qualifications

• BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
• Deep knowledge of signal processing and communication systems.
• Strong analytical skills (linear algebra, random processes, detection and estimation, etc.).
• Experience with Matlab, C/C++, Python for algorithm development.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF models for 5G/6G cellular and 5G NTN.
• Perform end-to-end characterization of RF impairments of the modem, develop analytical models and support RF/modem spec definition.
• Develop RF mitigation algorithms for various impairments.
