Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Hardware Engineer for an onsite Contract-to-Hire role based in Bingen, WA. You will sustain existing hardware, improve production yield, and own custom test equipment while contributing to new product development across RF, digital, and analog domains.

Responsibilities include leading sustainment activities, analyzing field issues, designing test stations, and supporting design-for-test initiatives in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of hardware design experience.
• Strong RF design experience across transmitters, receivers, filters, amplifiers, mixers, synthesis, impedance matching, shielding, grounding.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainment activities for existing hardware products; improve yield and reliability.
• Analyze recurring issues; implement corrective actions to enhance manufacturability and performance.
• Own design and development of custom test equipment and test station hardware.
• Design PCBs for test stations including power, interfaces, RF, and processors/FPGAs.
• Participate in design reviews; provide technical feedback and influence architecture.
