Job summary

Actalent in Redmond, WA is seeking a PCB Test Engineer to bridge design and hardware validation on satellite antenna hardware systems. This on-site role focuses on hardware bring-up, validation tests, debugging, and automation to improve test throughput.

You will collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Automation, Manufacturing and Test Engineering teams to configure test racks, analyze failures, generate runbooks and status updates for program leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience testing electronics and PCBs, including bring-up and subsystem integration.
• Hands-on experience with test racks, fixtures, and hardware test development.
• Troubleshooting PCB and lab testing failures and debugging hardware.

Responsibilities

• Support hardware integration, bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting for satellite antenna hardware.
• Execute electrical, design, and qualification testing across multiple hardware assemblies.
• Support ambient and thermal chamber test operations for various hardware assemblies.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain test racks, fixtures, and related infrastructure.
• Analyze failures, document findings, escalate issues, and participate in root-cause investigations.
• Generate test reports, runbooks, and stakeholder status updates.
