Job summary

E-Space is building a high-performance LEO satellite system and seeks a Senior Engineering Technician specializing in RF hardware to join the on-site Arlington, TX team. You will build, test, and validate transmitter/receiver hardware, antennas, and phased arrays across multiple bands, using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and anechoic chamber systems, while generating clear test reports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on RF hardware experience in aerospace/defense/high-reliability environment.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment and calibration techniques
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and 3D CAD models; GD&T knowledge
• Experience with prototype development cycles including assembly, environmental testing, and design validation
• Knowledge of RF fundamentals and correlating test data to design intent

Responsibilities

• Build, tune, and troubleshoot RF hardware across multiple bands.
• Operate RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, anechoic chamber) and calibrate.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, CAD models; apply GD&T and configuration control.
• Support prototype development cycles — assembly, rework, environmental testing, design validation.
• Apply RF fundamentals to correlate test data with design intent and identify root causes.
• Generate test reports, track discrepancies, and communicate findings to teams.
• Follow aerospace standards and lab/shop procedures (AS9100, ESD, cleanliness, environmental, thermal, vibration).
