Job summary

Northwood Space seeks a Senior RF Hardware Engineer to design RF electronics for next-generation ground networks. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to optimize performance from concept to production.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering and 5+ years of RF design experience, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. On-site in Torrance, CA, with generous total rewards including stock options and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of RF design experience across circuits, filters, or antennas.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS clearance (US).

Responsibilities

• Design RF electronics hardware for next generation products, and iterate on existing hardware to improve reliability, performance, and manufacturability
• Create electromagnetic simulation models of hardware (amplifiers, filters, PCB layout) to design and evaluate performance
• Build RF circuits (LNA’s, filters, power amplifiers) as well as support circuitry (power, digital control), and characterize their performance
• Collaboration with hardware and software engineers to characterize and troubleshoot integrated RF system performance
