Job summary

Research Innovations, Inc. on Aberdeen Proving Grounds is seeking a Principal RF Engineer to lead design, integration, and testing of advanced RF collection systems for defense and intelligence missions.

You will drive system performance across SIL and field environments, ensuring reliability under demanding conditions. The role requires deep RF fundamentals, hands-on experience with SIGINT programs, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in RF signal collection systems.
• 3+ years in SIGINT or related DoD/IC roles.
• Strong RF fundamentals: propagation, antenna theory, and link budget.
• Experience with Agile, Jira, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Support Army DEVCOM QRC initiatives onsite at APG.
• Design and optimize RF systems, including antenna selection and integration.
• Perform link budget analysis and signal propagation modeling.
• Develop solutions in SIL and field environments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-ready capabilities.
