Firestorm is seeking a Senior Electrical RF Engineer in San Diego, CA, to lead the design and integration of antennas and RF systems for sUAS platforms. This full-time role involves hands-on tasks from defining link budgets to executing RF testing and ensuring compliance with military standards.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience, with expertise in electromagnetic simulation tools and RF testing equipment.

Firestorm offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $135,000 USD along with comprehensive benefits and perks to foster a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in RF and antenna engineering, preferably in aerospace or defense.
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC analysis and applicable standards.
• Proficient in Python or MATLAB for RF data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and integrate antennas for sUAS platforms.
• Develop RF link budgets and system architectures.
• Perform EMI/EMC analysis for airframe compatibility.
