Monarch Quantum is seeking an Electrical Engineer 4 in San Diego to architect, develop and test RF and mixed-signal circuitry for cutting-edge products. You will design, document and support testing of systems, mentor junior engineers, and interact with leadership to implement robust engineering practices.

The role requires 7+ years in RF design, strong analog/mixed-signal skills, PCB layout and BOM management, and proficiency with SPICE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant startup/tech experience.
• RF circuit design experience 200MHz–20GHz.
• RF PCB design with low loss, low crosstalk, high signal integrity.
• Altium Designer experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems.
• Documentation of design architecture and formal design synthesis.
• Modeling and simulation of performance of electrical circuits.
• PCB layout and production of PCB CAM files; BOM maintenance.
• Lead failure root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians as needed.
