Job summary

Lynk in the United States is seeking a Senior RF/Electrical Engineer to own the analysis, design, and testing of nanosatellite payloads. You will work across RF, electrical, mechanical, and software domains, building link budgets, antenna designs, and system-level planning to enable the constellation network.

Responsibilities include bench-level prototyping, SDR/FPGA work, and collaboration with Systems Engineering to shape network architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in RF or Electrical Engineering with a related field.
• 7+ years of experience on space hardware projects, design, integration or test.
• Hands-on with SDRs, antennas, FPGAs, GPUs, CPUs, SoCs, SBCs and microcontrollers.
• Programming in C++, C, Python, MATLAB or similar.
• Proficient with Linux-based systems and common engineering tools.
• Familiarity with Verilog/VHDL and FPGA toolchains is a plus.
• Experience with RF air interfaces and multiple access schemes (TDMA/FDMA/OFDMA/CDMA).
• Ability to document technical work and work independently/in teams.

Responsibilities

• Support spacecraft payload hardware design, including SBCs, SDRs, FPGAs and LNAs.
• Develop link budgets, RF system design and coverage planning.
• Perform antenna technology selection and design.
• Coordinate payload integration and testing with partners and vendors.
• Plan payload test configurations on ground and in-orbit scenarios.
• Interface with Systems Engineering to inform constellation architecture.
• Bench-level mechatronics work and hardware/software prototyping.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for payload design.
