What You Will Do
  • Design RF microwave components and phased array applications.
  • Develop insights that extend knowledge in the RF/Microwave field and form the basis of new concepts, theories, and products.
  • Design and/or test MMIC or module products and test fixtures at RF/microwave frequencies.
  • Integrate and test component‑level and system‑level phased array hardware.
  • Provide technical support to production activities. Travel to integration sites, customer and subcontractor facilities may be required.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Degree in STEM with minimum 5 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Microwave/RF system, subsystem and component analysis, design and test.
  • Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Genesys, Mentor Graphics Xpedition and Cadence Virtuoso, and analytical tools such as Matlab.
  • Experience performing basic RF calculations and cascaded analysis.
Qualifications We Value
  • Background designing and testing analog CCAs, frequency conversion, AGC, amplifier and analog filter design.
  • Experience in electrical interconnects and transmission line design.
  • Understanding of RF layout techniques from HF to X‑Band.
  • Understanding of EMI analysis and mitigation techniques.
  • Propensity for learning through self‑study in a multi‑tasking environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of allocating and flowing down requirements from system to component level.
  • Experience designing RF/Microwave MMIC circuits, modules or test fixtures.
  • Experience with GaAs and/or GaN MMIC devices.
  • Experience with integrated circuit layout and physical verification using Cadence Virtuoso software tools.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor processing concepts (GaAs, GaN, SOI).
  • Strong academic background in Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory, Radar Systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with microwave testing techniques (spectrum analyzers, RSAs, VNAs, PNAs).
  • Experience in technical writing, proposal writing, and oral presentations.
  • Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
