Job summary

DCS Corporation is seeking a Senior Communications Engineer to support AFLCMC/HBS/WIW and the AWACS division. The role is a full-time hybrid position based at Hanscom AFB, MA, with 20% travel to Oklahoma and Seattle.

Responsibilities include analyzing comms terminals, RF engineering, system integration, and lifecycle management of communications systems for defense programs. A Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of DoD experience are required, along with US citizenship and an Active Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years of experience including 5+ years supporting DoD programs.
• U.S. citizenship is required; Active Secret Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze communication terminals, satellite relays, internet and broadband technologies; oversee development and fielding of comms equipment in the acquisition process.
• Develop and implement plans to manage communications work in accordance with DoD acquisition processes.
• Manage comms system interfaces for integration with weapon systems and lifecycle of comms designs.
• Lead RF engineering activities including antenna systems, RF cable design, and signal propagation.
• Perform testing/measurement using computer-controlled instrumentation; report findings with MS Office.
