Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior RF Characterization Engineer with test development experience to design and scale automated RF test racks for FEM characterization and DVT, enabling rapid evaluation of next-gen 5G/6G devices.

You will collaborate with RF IC and hardware teams, develop robust test software in VB.net, Python, C#, or LabVIEW, and mentor technicians while leading lab bring-up and root-cause debugging of prototype modules.

Qualifications

• BSEE with RF/Microwave focus.
• 5+ years in mobile cellular/wireless RF validation.
• Proficiency programming instrument communications (VB.net, Python or C++).
• Lab infrastructure: VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, VSGs, power meters, MIPI RFFE protocol analyzers.
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP standards (LTE, 5G NR, FR1/FR2) and/or Wi-Fi.

Responsabilités

• Partner with RF IC and Hardware Design Engineers to align test methodologies with design models.
• Design, enhance, and maintain highly scalable automated RF test scripts and software environments (VB.net, Python, C#, LabVIEW).
• Lead lab bring-up, DVT, and root-cause debugging of mobile prototype FEMs with PAs, LNAs, switches, MIPI RFFE, and integrated filters.
• Analyze and plot performance results and share with design teams.
• Mentor Technicians on new software and laboratory equipment.
