Job summary

General Atomics is seeking an Assembly, Integration, and Test Technician to join GA-EMS Radar Technologies. You will assemble RF hardware, sub-assemblies, and test fixtures, then integrate components into larger systems and perform system-level validation with engineering.

You will set up and calibrate RF/electronic test equipment, conduct functional and environmental testing, and document results while maintaining quality records and procedures for DoD projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; DoD clearance eligibility.
  • Basic soldering techniques, including through-hole and surface-mount.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics and assembly instructions.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, RF and electronic systems.
  • Experience with common electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters).

Responsibilities

  • Assemble RF hardware, sub-assemblies, breadboards, wiring harnesses and test fixtures.
  • Integrate mechanical, electrical and RF components into larger systems.
  • Set up, calibrate and operate RF/electronic test equipment for functional testing.
  • Conduct functional, performance and environmental tests on components and assemblies.
  • Troubleshoot with engineering and implement corrective actions.
