Job summary

247Hire is seeking a Senior Revit Piping Design Technician with extensive industrial piping experience to develop piping models in Revit and support complex facility projects.

You will independently create accurate piping models, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and help ensure high-quality, specification-driven deliverables, while maintaining drawing accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Design Technology or a related field is required or +2 years practical experience.
• 10+ years of piping design experience in industrial settings (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Semi-Conductors).
• Proficiency in Revit for piping design and modeling with at least 3 years of solid usage.
• Understanding of piping specifications, materials, equipment interfaces, and layout fundamentals.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, vendor drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to work independently with general oversight while managing your assigned design tasks.
• Strong communication and coordination skills within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on model and drawing accuracy.

• Experience in semiconductor facilities.
• Working knowledge of pipe stress considerations and how they influence routing and support design.
• Experience with QA/QC workflows, model health reviews, and specification-driven design.
• Advanced capability with Revit such as family/part development and trouble-shooting.
• Prior leadership in Piping teams, including oversight of model consistency and deliverable quality.
