Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in Charlottesville, VA is seeking an experienced technical intelligence analyst to assess software and hardware capabilities, perform reverse engineering, and deliver concise ST&I assessments for DoD and IC partners.

You will apply the cyber kill chain and offensive techniques to identify cybersecurity issues, analyzing subsystems, firmware, and DSP/FPGA designs to understand performance and potential vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with software design and development.
• Experience with C++ and programming languages.
• Experience with software disassemblers, debuggers, and reverse engineering applications.
• Experience with performing in-depth technical evaluations of computer and network technologies.
• Ability to conduct all-source S&T research, analysis, and engineering.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in EE, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth technical evaluations of computer and network technologies through analysis and identification of software capabilities and vulnerabilities.
• Reverse engineer software and firmware to understand capabilities and performance.
• Author concise ST&I assessments in conformance with IC analytic standards for DoD and IC partners.
• Apply cyber kill chain knowledge to identify and describe cybersecurity issues.
• Analyze hardware (PCBs, DSPs, FPGA designs) and extract firmware to assess system capabilities.
