Job summary

Capital One Travel seeks a Senior Analyst to lead receivables processes across functions, mitigate operational risks, and develop procedural frameworks. You will oversee reporting of payment health metrics and collaborate with Finance, Operations, Product, and Business teams to drive efficiency and a future-state workflow.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work with diverse teams across Capital One Travel Operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
At least 1 year of Financial Services experience.
At least 2 years of experience in Accounting, Audit, Risk Management, Finance or a combination.

Responsibilities

Accurately collect and reconcile customer receivables.
Record and apply customer payments on a daily basis.
Follow up with customers on outstanding receivables.
Own financial reconciliation data and reporting.
Reconcile daily deposits between bank account and accounting system.
Monitor inboxes and reply to internal and external stakeholders regarding invoices and payments made to Capital One Travel.
Manage and resolve payments in the A/R Suspense account.
Manage risks of incorrect receivables by ensuring enhanced controls meet updated payment standards.
Partners with Finance, Operations, Product, and Business to streamline processes and resolve payment issues.
