Duties &Responsibilities

You own revenue operations in full: every system, process, and number between a first touch and a renewal. Marketing, sales, partnerships, and post-sale all run on infrastructure you are responsible for.

HubSpot is the center of it. You are the sole admin and architect, you own every integration into it and every workflow inside it, and you own the data that comes out of it.

This is a strategy role and an execution role at the same time. You decide how the CRM models our business and what the forecast rests on, and you bring the analysis that shapes decisions you don't make alone, like how territories are drawn, and then you build it: the workflows, the integrations, the scripts, the reports. Nothing here gets handed to someone else to implement.

You report to the Director of Marketing and work directly with sales, partnerships, product, and the CEO. If a number in our executive scorecard is wrong, you are the person who finds out why.

We have spent the last few quarters clearing leftover CRM debt. This person inherits that work and holds the line. We are hiring for rigor about data hygiene and process: someone who keeps the system clean as a matter of habit, rather than cleaning it up again two years from now.

To be direct about the shape of this job: you will not have junior support. There is no analyst to hand the data pull to and no admin to build the workflow. You set the strategy and then you execute it yourself, building the territory model in the morning and cleaning the records that feed it in the afternoon.

What you'll own
  • Every integration into and out of HubSpot. Native connectors, third-party tools, and custom API work. You decide what syncs, in which direction, with what conflict rules, and you are the one who notices when a sync silently stops.
  • Data integrity and analysis. Our account and contact universe runs to thousands of credit unions. You keep it deduplicated, enriched, and correctly segmented, and you can answer questions about it without waiting on anyone: pipeline coverage, win rates by deal count, attribution by channel, cross-sell penetration by product line.
  • GTM automation. Enrichment and routing, lead-to-account matching, territory assignment rules, sequence and handoff logic, and the internal tooling that removes manual steps from the revenue team's week. Where a no-code tool is enough, use it. Where it isn't, write the script.
  • Sales and post-sale operations. Deal desk support, quoting and contract flow, pipeline hygiene and stage discipline, handoffs between sales and delivery, and the renewal and cross-sell motions that follow the first close. You remove friction from the rep's day and enforce the process when it slips.
  • Planning, quota, and compensation, in a supporting role. Other departments own these decisions; you make them possible. You build the territory and capacity models, administer commission plans in the CRM, and produce the attainment and forecast numbers leadership plans against. The comp plan pays against your numbers, so they need to be right.
  • Reporting leadership acts on. Live dashboards and scorecards, quarterly forecasting inputs, compensation and attainment tracking, and the ad hoc analysis that precedes a real decision. You will be asked to defend a number in front of the CEO.
Systems you'll own

You are the single point of accountability for the revenue tech stack, not just the admin, but the person who decides how these systems model our business and who is accountable when the data in them is wrong.

  • HubSpot, our system of record. You own the data model: objects, properties, lifecycle stages, and the rules that govern them. Workflows, lead routing, sequences, health scores, dashboards, and the prospecting agent all run through you, as do all CRM requests and data imports.
  • PandaDoc, contract generation and execution. You own templates and the modular contract structure, approval workflows and locked clauses, line-item sync with HubSpot, and seat management. Renewal decisions and platform-tier evaluations are yours to recommend.
  • Jiminny, conversational intelligence. You own the configuration that turns call transcripts into structured intent signals across every product line, and the downstream routing of those signals to sellers and sales owners.
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Wiza, our prospecting and contact-data layer. You own seat allocation, data quality monitoring, and the enrichment pipeline into HubSpot. You also own the honest assessment of whether each tool earns its cost, and the case for replacing or consolidating them when it doesn't.
  • The revenue data model, shared with our data team. You are the revenue-side counterpart to our data engineering function: you bring the commercial view to the warehouse and make sure HubSpot and the warehouse agree on what a customer, a deal, and a product are. This includes the HubSpot and QuickBooks line-item and billing sync.
  • The documentation. You own the RevOps operating manual: rules of engagement, system processes, and role-based documentation for SDRs, Account Sales Owners, and RevOps itself. If a process exists only in someone's head, it's not done.
Where the boundaries are
  • You own the architecture; lifecycle marketing builds inside it. Data model, custom objects, properties, permissions, integrations, and the automation that moves records between stages are yours. Campaign execution (nurture sequences, emails, landing pages) belongs to lifecycle marketing, working within the guardrails you set.
  • The website is owned by the Director of Marketing. You own the handoff from the site into the CRM: forms, tracking, routing, and attribution. You do not own the CMS.
  • Planning, quota, and compensation decisions sit with other departments. You build the models and run the mechanics.
  • Everything else in the revenue stack is yours, including the decision to keep, replace, or build a tool.
Education & Experience Required

What we're looking for:

  • 6+ years in revenue operations, marketing operations, sales operations, or GTM engineering at a B2B company, with at least three of those years as the primary owner of a CRM instance.
  • Deep HubSpot expertise. Not "I've used HubSpot": you have built custom objects, multi-branch workflows, and custom-coded workflow actions, and you know where the platform's limits are.
  • Strong data skills. This is the core of the job, not a supporting skill. You are fluent in SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs, aggregation across mismatched grains) and you can model data, not just query it: you know what a fact table is, why a deal and an invoice disagree, and how to reconcile two systems that both claim to be right. You can take a messy export and return a defensible answer, and you can explain how you got there.
  • Scripting ability. Python or JavaScript for API integrations, webhooks, and data transformation. You do not need to be a software engineer, but you should be able to read API documentation and build the thing yourself.
  • Azure data stack. Our data platform runs on Azure. You are comfortable working against it (Azure SQL, Data Factory, and Synapse or Fabric) and can hold your own in a conversation with data engineers about schema, pipelines, and where a number actually comes from.
  • AI-native working style. You use agentic tools like Claude Code as part of how you work, not as a novelty: generating and debugging scripts, building and maintaining AI agents in the GTM stack, and automating your own workload. A team of one only works if the one is leveraged.
  • Integration experience. You have connected a CRM to other systems via API, handled authentication and rate limits, and built error handling for when a sync fails at 2am.
  • Judgment about what to automate. You can tell the difference between a process that needs tooling and a process that needs to be eliminated.
  • Clear writing. You document what you build and explain technical tradeoffs to people who do not care about the technical tradeoffs.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ownership. You will be a team of one, setting priorities as often as you receive them and doing the hands‑on work yourself. We are looking for someone senior enough to…

Bonus points:

  • Credit union, banking, fintech, or regulated financial services experience
  • Experience with enrichment and prospecting platforms such as Clay, ZoomInfo, or Apollo
  • dbt, Power BI, or similar: you have built reporting on top of a data warehouse, not just inside a CRM
  • Experience building with LLM APIs or AI agents for GTM workflows: research, enrichment, call analysis, content operations
  • Conversation intelligence or call recording platforms
  • Experience as the systems owner supporting a lifecycle or email marketing function
  • Experience as the first operations hire, or the one who cleaned up after a messy CRM migration
Compensation

Base salary: $165,000 - $185,000

Bonus: tied to revenue attainment

Location: Remote, US. Travel is minimal.
