Job summary

uniQure is seeking an Associate Director, Revenue Controller to own end-to-end revenue accounting for gene therapy products within the SAP S/4HANA system. The role partners with FP&A, Tax, and Medical Affairs to ensure accurate revenue recognition under US GAAP with IFRS applicability.

You will lead global month-, quarter-, and year-end closes, build dashboards, and implement strong SOX controls. A hands-on accounting leader with a process-automation mindset is a must for this senior role in a

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant gene/cell therapy commercial revenue and accounts receivable experience.
Experience in a SOX-compliant public-company environment.
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, Dutch RA, or equivalent) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own the complete financial accounting for external revenue within SAP S/4HANA.
Lead global month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes.
Design and automate dashboards for revenue and receivables insights.
Establish reconciliation quality standards and monitor open items.
Review journal entries and supporting documentation for accuracy.
Collaborate with inventory control to align revenue with cost of sales and inventory.
Design and implement SOX controls for financial accounting processes.
Serve as primary liaison with external auditors for revenue and AR matters.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP (primary) and IFRS.
