Job summary

Workday is seeking a Senior Revenue Analyst to join our Revenue Recognition Accounting Team. You will partner with stakeholders across Sales, Legal, Dealdesk, Sales Ops, and Finance to drive accurate revenue recognition for complex subscriptions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in revenue or technical accounting (ASC 606), a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and strong Excel, RevPro, Salesforce, and Workday skills. This role supports a flexible, hybrid work model.

Qualifications

5+ years related experience in Revenue / Technical Accounting (ASC 606).
Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance.

Responsibilities

Partner with Sales, Legal, Dealdesk, Sales Ops, Finance on deals during negotiation, advising on key terms and revenue recognition.
Understand business issues within the accounting standards to provide guidance.
Manage workflow to provide timely feedback and inform management of key issues.
Document reviews in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
Analyze contracts and prepare revenue schedules to verify subscription recordings.
Own reconciliations and other processes in the worldwide revenue close cycle.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of key revenue data.
Collaborate with Order-to-Cash teams to ensure executed agreements are properly processed.
Work with Dealdesk and Legal to improve contract management processes.
Maintain documentation for all business processes and compliance work.
Lead and assist with special projects; drive them to completion.
