Job summary

Pilot seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to lead the revenue accounting function for a fast-growing SaaS company. You’ll own ASC 606 revenue recognition, controls, and reporting across the end-to-end Order-to-Cash lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on SaaS systems experience (Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite/QuickBooks) and collaboration with Sales, Billing, FP&A, and IT. This hybrid SF role is based in San Francisco with three in-office days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive revenue/technical accounting, SaaS experience.
• 3+ years of Big 4 experience.
• Deep ASC 606 knowledge and SaaS revenue models.
• Hands-on Zuora and Salesforce; familiarity with NetSuite/QuickBooks and FloaQast/Blackline.

Responsibilities

• Own the Order-to-Cash process with cross‑functional teams to prevent revenue leakage.
• Serve as SME for Salesforce and Zuora; ensure billing and revenue configuration accuracy.
• Lead monthly revenue close, including deferred revenue and contract asset/liability reconciliations.
• Document ASC 606 SSP methodology and prepare technical accounting memos.
• Drive automation across SFDC–Zuora–ERP to reduce manual reconciliations.
• Maintain internal controls and support SOX readiness.
