Job summary

CoStar Group in Arlington, VA seeks a Senior Accountant, Revenue Accounting to prepare workpapers for revenue recognition and support ASC 606 compliance. This in-office role collaborates with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Product to evaluate revenue implications of new models.

The ideal candidate has SaaS/eCommerce revenue experience, strong analytics, and ability to drive process improvements. In-office, Monday-Friday in Arlington.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in SaaS/software and eCommerce revenue models.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workpapers related to revenue recognition in ASC 606.
• Interpret customer contracts for revenue treatment and policy adherence.
• Improve revenue recognition, billing, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors on revenue-related audits.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue close workpapers.
