Job summary

Veradigm is seeking a Senior Accountant for the Revenue Accounting team in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on deferred revenue, contract assets, and ASC 606 technical revenue reviews within a healthcare IT context.

The ideal candidate has a solid revenue accounting foundation, experience with SaaS/technology revenue models, and strength in partnering with sales, legal, billing, and finance to resolve complex revenue matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• 3+ years relevant work experience in revenue/accounting preferred
• Experience with ASC 606 in SaaS/technology environments beneficial

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reconciliation of deferred revenue and contract assets
• Prepare monthly/quarterly roll-forward schedules
• Determine proper contract balance sheet classification
• Record and review revenue transactions per ASC 606
• Close activities: journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis
• Investigate reconciling items between billing, subledger and GL
• Collaborate with sales, legal, billing, and finance on complex deals
• Support SOX controls and external audit requests
• Develop accounting policies related to revenue recognition
• Provide technical accounting memos for significant arrangements
• Assist in deal structuring discussions with internal stakeholders
