Job summary

Solera is seeking a Senior Accountant – Revenue Recognition to ensure ASC 606 compliant revenue accounting across the organization. You will review complex contracts, perform analyses, and prepare journal entries for month-end close.

The role requires strong technical accounting, collaboration with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and cross-functional teams, and a focus on internal controls and audit readiness. This is a remote US-wide position with global scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and complex revenue arrangements.
• Experience with revenue recognition, journal entries, and close processes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; detail oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer contracts to identify ASC 606 obligations and revenue allocation.
• Prepare revenue-related journal entries and reconciliations for month-end and quarter-end closes.
• Validate revenue system outputs and schedules, investigate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, FP&A, Product, Engineering, and Pricing on revenue implications.
• Maintain SOX controls and provide audit documentation for reviews.
